Special Education Program Transfer: Students completing an Associate of Arts degree are prepared to transfer to a Bachelor degree special education program offered at Idaho’s four-year colleges.

Degree Types: The program offers an online Associate of Arts (AA) in Special Education, which requires a minimum of four semesters.

Program Description: The goals of the Special Education Program are to introduce students to the special education profession, to help students earn an Associate of Arts degree, and to assist students as they prepare to transfer to a four-year special education program. Students take courses from the CSI general education core as well as specific program requirements in Special Education.

Careers: The Special Education Associate of Arts degree is designed to prepare students to transfer to a Bachelor degree special education program in Idaho. The degree prepares students who are interested in the K-12 special education field.
